9 ways to remember your past lives

There are so many beautiful ways our soul can remember a past life. Some of those instances could have not been planned at all and are part of the mystery of life. However I want to share ways how you can invite such memories deliberately and with your conscious intention.

I would like to make a note here. It is not possible or not needed to remember all your past lives in one go. Your soul might have had a lot of past lives experiences. And to integrate what you remember you will need time. Also past life memories are more like relevant materials to your current soul lessons and are here to help you. If hypothetically you suddenly remember everything, you will be overwhelmed and confused. So it is totally normal to remember past lives bit by bit, a piece of one lifetime or one group of related lifetimes. If your soul needs more memories, they will come later. Also keep in mind that your soul might had lives in different forms besides human and in different dimensions too.

With all this said, remembering your past lives is the most natural thing, like memories from your childhood rushing into your consciousness and helping you understand who you are presently. Have you experienced those before? It is similarly natural to remember a life which you had before being in this body.

So let's look at 9 ways to remember your past lives:

1. Setting an intention and asking to remember

As I described in the previous post, it may be enough to simply ask and receive memories. First you feel your own desire to remember. Then you check if you feel you are ready. Next step is to set an intention inside yourself - «Yes, let's do it». And then you ask your own soul, your guides or Universe to help you remember. The key is to be sincere in your request. The final step would be to let go and still expect it to happen. Memories will come in a perfect Divine time, although this make take some human time, from instantly remembering to several months. Sometimes this method may feel like the most natural and gentle way to go, especially if other ways don't speak to you right now.


2. Guided meditations to remember past lives

This is possibly the most straightforward way to remember a past life. This may be in a form of a meditation you download and listen when you are alone. This may be in a form of an exercise during a workshop, where a facilitator guides everyone on this type of meditation. This also may be in a form of a 1:1 session with a person who offers past life regressions. It's important to know that there is no correct or best way to experience a past live meditation. Different imagery and pacing of a guided journey works differently for everyone at different times. Choose what resonates with you at the time.


3. Going to a place of power

When you visit a sacred place or a place with powerful natural energy, this may help you remember by raising your energy level and nourishing you with higher vibrations. A place of power may also stir up some memories related to your connection to it. This only works, however, if you go to a place which is attractive to youк soul at present time. You may feel called to go there. If you feel it, then there is some gifts waiting for you, including arising memories.


4. Intuitive reading

A powerful way to remember is to have a session with an intuitive or psychic, where you ask about past lives. Also information about past lives may come in response to your question about a problem or healing you wish to create. It is helpful to choose a practitioner who does work with past lives or at least is accepting of the idea, so information would be able to come through them to you.


5. Imagination

This brings me to another method of remembering which may be best practiced in a conversation with a trusted and open friend. You may each start by saying: «I wonder, who I have been in a past life… Maybe this?… Or this type of a person?… Maybe I did this?… Maybe I lived in these historical times?» - and just start making it up, imagining, playing around - while connecting to how you feel about different ideas you come up with. Feel free to voice how you feel about your ideas out loud. This helps you feel if something sounds true. You can do this practice on your own in your journal, but it is fun to occasionally get feedback from a friend: «Yes, I can totally see you doing this!» Such affirmation from people who understand us can really help build up your trust in what you are remembering.


6. Using a divination system

There are many divination systems which can be used for remembering past lives. From oracle cards to quite random online questionnaires devoted to other incarnations. The key here is to ask your question inside yourself about your past lives, stay open and see how you feel about the answer your receive.
It is almost the same way as with imagination. When your intuition or your divination tool comes up with an answer, sit with it, think about it and let it sink in into your body. Over time you will feel that you are really connecting to the idea of this particular past live or that you don't naturally feel attracted to this. Or maybe your gut will tell you that some of the information feels true and some is a little off key or not complete yet. It is ok for a past life to be remembered bit by bit over time.


7. Studying high vibrational materials

This may include reading channeled books about manifestation, studying very loving materials (maybe a powerful story of a true spiritual seaker), reading about dimensions and shifting vibrations, watching a video about life between lives (between incarnations) or exploring really deep ideas about soul lessons.
All these type of sources, if they are of high quality and are resonating with you, may raise your vibration. Especially if you are wondering about your past lives at the moment, a higher vibration may trigger you to remember. It works the same way as with a place of power, except you are being shifted to a higher vibration without the need to go anywhere physically.


8. Hanging out with people who are exploring their past lives too

When we are in a group and we are journeying through a similar process, it's easier to work on one thing or intention together. This may be in a form of a workshop which you attend with other people. But also this works when you connect to your close friends who are also curious about their past incarnations. Maybe one afternoon you hang out together and talk about your past lives. Being with your friend of a similar interest (or with a group of friends) can be very powerful and help you remember deeper and those things you might have not been able to access alone. When I spend time with my group of fellow intuitive students and practitioners, there is always some powerful growth for me, including around my past lives.


9. Listening to someone else's story of remembering their past lives

When we listen to a personal story, we are not only connecting to the factual material in the story, we are also subconsciously learning from the person. We are affected by their experience and this may be very helpful. You may feel you had similar past live story or you may remember something completely different. You may be activated by the mere fact that someone else allowed themselves to dive into their past lives. It works like a permission from another human being, a confirmation that past lives are real.


These are the ways you can start to uncover your past life memories.

Choose what resonates with you and trust your own feelings about each method.

Some days you may be attracted to one way, others to another. You can actively work on your past live memories for months and then take a brake for a year. All these fluctuations are natural and are a part of your personal rhythm. There are also times when we need to focus solely on here and now and just taking care of ourselves - and that is fine too.

Remembering past lives is not the ultimate goal. The ultimate goal is for you to be happy. Trust yourself in how you will remember, when and why.
