How to unpack?

How to unpack?

Looks super complicated? Don't worry, it's actually easy.

You need a knife and scissors. Sharp scissors alone could work too.

Put the knife parallel to the cardboard surface and cut through the scotch tape covering by sliding the knife into the cover.

This plastic layer is not attached to the box, there is air between them. That's why you will be able to easily cut this way.

Don't worry if you scratch the surface of this cardboard a bit. Your painting is hidden far behind.

Continue with scissors.

The plastic layer will come off rather easily, because it is not attached to the cardboard by any glue.

Now peel off the yellow tape by hand. It will come off easily and your box will open.

Get the bubble wrapped package out of the box.

Peel off the yellow tape from the bubble wrap and remove it all. Easy!

Now again put the knife parallel to the cardboard surface, slide in and cut through the scotch tape covering.

AVOID cutting from a side of the package, do it at the flat surface side.

Continue with scissors. It will come off easily too.

Gently separate the cardboards. Your painting is hidden between them.

Here is your painting!

Now gently and slowly remove the yellow tape.

Especially do it gently if you wish to preserve the transparent protective packaging for your painting until you frame it, for example.

Remember to keep your watercolour paintings away from humidity & liquids and don't store it at direct sunlight.

A painting is happier when framed.

Enjoy!
